PRP for Hair Loss and Under Eyes: Treatments

PRP FOR HAIR LOSS

$350 per session
$1250 for package of 4

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) can be injected into the scalp in areas of hair loss and thinning. This helps the hair to grow longer and thicker in areas of thinning, as well as helps new hair growth to occur in areas of hair loss/balding. The growth factors in PRP help with tissue repair and hair growth. PRP is produced after drawing the patient’s own blood and spinning it in a centrifuge to separate it from the red blood cells. The PRP is then injected into the scalp in a simple, relatively quick procedure.

Benefits of PRP injections in scalp:

  • helps induce new hair growth

  • helps repair hair follicles for stronger, healthier hair growth

  • helps hair grow thicker

  • helps hair grow faster

What to Expect:

  • Duration of procedure: approximately 45-60 minutes

  • Post-procedure bruising and swelling that

  • Expect to conduct multiple treatments for significant results

It is highly recommended that clients just beginning their hair growth journey join Ilumina Medspa’s Hair Growth Program. This program contains combination therapy to tackle hair growth from multiple angles for optimal results.

PRP FOR UNDER EYES

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) can be injected into the undereye area to help improve darkness and puffiness. PRP is produced after drawing the patient’s own blood and spinning it in a centrifuge to separate it from the red blood cells. Dermal fillers for the under eyes will help improve hollowness but will not correct true darkness of the undereye area. That is where PRP comes in. PRP can be used as a combination therapy with undereye filler or can be done alone.

Benefits of PRP for the undereyes:

  • Improves dark circles

  • Improves puffiness

  • Can help to tighten skin

  • Induces collagen production

What to Expect:

  • Duration of procedure: approximately 45 minutes

  • Post-procedure bruising and swelling that should subside in 1-5 days
